Ski Fit Starts Sept 24 In Vancouver
Greetings all!
Well our Summer days are growing noticeably shorter and cooler evening are becoming the norm once again and a reminder that the start of SKI FIT is just around the corner.
I trust you are healthy, active and have enjoyed the wonderful Spring and Summer weather, that mother nature bestowed upon us this year.
So here`s to an Indian Summer and a pleasant Fall that will usher in a Winter with Mountains of Snow.
SKI FIT`s first Thursday evening class begins Sept. 24/09 at 7:30 p m and our first Tuesday night class starts on Sept. 29/09 at 7:30 p m. The Tues./ Thur. Combo will commence on the same starting dates. For

You can pre-register on line at www.continuinged.ca, phone the VSB (604-713-4550) or simply sign up on the first nights of Ski Fit classes in the #401 Gym at Kitsalano High School.

Carl is based here in Vancouver and was the Director of Sports Science & Medicine for Alpine Canada for many years and travelled as the physiotherapist and fitness coach for the Canadian National Ski Team for 14 years.
His book "Fit 2 Ski" has many explained and illustrated exercises and helpful tips designed to increase your safety and enjoyment on the slopes and they can be performed in and around the comfort of your home.

SKI FIT has been a great personal motivator for me. Rather than coming home from work at night and sitting down in front of the TV, it gets me out, it makes me sweat and I have a great time - it is social and a lot of fun.
I always learn something from the mini presentations that happen on many of the evenings. I've been going for many years and it is one of the healthiest things I have done for myself.
